Kind Hearts Trust

Our Story
In January 2014, Leigh Rosanoski wrote a short, one-off post about kindness on her Facebook page. She continued to do so every week. Six months later, inspired by the transformational power of kindness and her vision of a kinder world, she launched a kindness movement with 1,000 kindness cards and her Kiwi can-do attitude.

With a core value of unconditional kindness and her belief that a kind heart beats within us all, Leigh created the Kind Hearts Movement to inspire an international momentum to do what we can, where we can and how we can make a difference.

The Kind Hearts movement continued to grow with Leigh as the CEO and in 2016 Kind Hearts became a charitable Trust. Leigh resigned as CEO in 2018 leaving the trust focussed on the vision of a kinder world with a sense of purpose to empower individuals and groups to strengthen communities through unconditional kindness.

Kind Hearts currently have three initiatives that support the vision and purpose of the trust. They are Kind Hearts in Schools, Kind Hearts Coffee and Kind Hearts for Parents. We have plans to extend our initiatives further into early childhood and business.

Our team of volunteers see every day as a kindness day which brings infinite possibilities to change lives and create a kinder world.
